For almost two hundred years Christ Church has served as a landmark for travellers in Vermont, and is now on the Register of Historic Places. Built in 1817 as the first Episcopal church building in Vermont, it has been without congregation and clergy for over a century. This beautiful church is available for weddings, baptisms, funerals, concerts and community events. Christ Church is currently administered for purposes of preservation as an historic site by a volunteer group, The Christ Church Guilford Society, Inc. and is affiliated with St. Michael's Episcopal Church of Brattleboro, VT.
